Gateshead Schools’ Music Service continues to be Outstanding!

In 2009, Gateshead Music Service, in common with 157 other similar organisations across the UK, was subject to a detailed peer moderation. The outcome of this process was very pleasing. The Music Service was given the status of being an Outstanding Music Service, with six out of nines areas being placed in the very highest category.

In 2011 another peer evaluation of the Gateshead Music Service was undertaken, and once again the service was given the status of being an Outstanding Music Service. We are extremely delighted with this result and strive to continue to  provide the best possible music education for the children of Gateshead.
