In Celebration.  Gateshead Youth Orchestra and Wind Band and the Choir Boys of St Nicholas’ Cathedral are to perform at the King’s Hall, Armstrong Building, Newcastle University Claremont Road NE1 7RU; on Sunday 6th March at 6 p.m.  The concert held in the presence of the Sheriff of Newcastle and Consort, celebrates the Avison Young Musicians’ Award prize winners and the presentation of the 2012 Avison Ensemble Young Musicians’ Awards by the Sheriff of Newcastle

This concert now marks an annual celebration of all that’s good about our local children and young people singing and playing music together in a mixture of styles, on a variety of instruments and from all ages and grades. Come and join us and help encourage our young people and see our education partners in action; experience the talent we have in the North East!

Tickets £3 on the door (FREE to all children, students and young people under 18.)
